Kraken’s Consumer team seeks an experienced Software Engineer to design and implement Rust-based services for trading, payments, and crypto experiences. You will focus on reliability, performance, and delivering world-class user experiences.

You’ll join a distributed, high-velocity environment, partnering with product teams to ship robust features. A security-first mindset and strong debugging skills across OS, network, and applications are essential.

Formación

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficient in writing network services or asynchronous Rust.
• Security-first mindset in system design.
• Ability to autonomously debug issues across the stack (OS, network, application).
• Knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architectures.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement robust Rust services and libraries powering trading, payments, and crypto experiences.
• Write reusable, testable code that scales across teams and supports revenue-critical systems.
• Collaborate on large-scale distributed systems architecture.
• Work alongside hundreds of Rust engineers to maintain a high-performance engineering culture.
