Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Technology Support III to join the SRDT team within Markets. You will blend hands-on production support with AWS infrastructure management and SRE practices to deliver reliable, scalable technology services.

You will automate, monitor, and optimize platform operations, collaborating with Engineering and Product teams to minimize toil and improve resilience across production workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in technology support, production/app support, or infrastructure management.
• Proven troubleshooting of IT applications, infrastructure, and services.
• Experience with cloud-based applications, preferably AWS.
• Automation scripting with Python or UNIX shell.
• Hands-on experience with observability and monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Splunk, ITRS Geneos).
• Familiarity with IaC tools and major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Cloud certifications and IaC tooling experience.
• Strong networking concepts understanding.
• Collaborative mindset across teams and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Treat operations as software problems; troubleshoot and resolve failures to minimize client impact.
• Support end-to-end production application and infrastructure flows for reliable service delivery.
• Monitor production environments with observability tools to detect issues quickly.
• Develop and implement automation to reduce manual toil and improve observability.
• Collaborate with Software Engineering, Product, and other teams to improve stability and performance.
• Maintain real-time monitoring dashboards for operability and performance.
• Identify trends, manage incidents, and support change management for full-stack systems.
• Participate in AWS/public cloud management including cost optimization and right-sizing.
• Ensure platform resiliency through DR, SR, and HA practices.
