High Scale is seeking a Video Editor to join our remote-first production team. Organize raw footage, assemble rough cuts, and deliver polished short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.

With 1+ year of experience and proficiency in Premiere Pro (After Effects a plus), you will collaborate with editors, producers, and strategists, adapt to feedback, and manage multiple projects while upholding brand standards.

Formación

• At least 1 year of experience in video editing or related field.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro; After Effects is a plus.
• Familiar with short-form video formats for TikTok, Reels, Shorts.
• Strong editing techniques, pacing, audio synchronization, and video formatting.
• Highly organized with excellent file management.
• Capable of handling multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Strong English communication and remote collaboration skills.
• Reliable internet and capable editing workstation.

Responsabilidades

• Organize, label, and manage raw footage and production assets.
• Review and select best footage for video projects.
• Create rough cuts and assemble footage from scripts and storyboards.
• Assist senior editors with editing short-form ads for social platforms.
• Synchronize audio/video, organize multicamera footage, and plan timelines.
• Add transitions, subtitles, captions, sound effects, and music as needed.
• Resize and reformat videos for different platforms and placements.
• Implement revisions based on feedback from editors, producers, and strategists.
• Perform quality checks to meet technical specs and brand guidelines.
• Export, upload, and organize final deliverables.
• Maintain organized project files and version control.
• Collaborate remotely with post-production teammates to meet deadlines.

What You’ll Do

• Organize, label, and manage raw footage, audio files, graphics, and other production assets.
• Review and select the best footage, takes, and sound bites for video projects.
• Create rough cuts and assemble footage based on scripts, storyboards, and creative briefs.
• Assist Senior Video Editors with editing short-form advertisements for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
• Synchronize audio and video, organize multicamera footage, and prepare project timelines for editors.
• Add basic transitions, subtitles, captions, sound effects, and music when needed.
• Resize and reformat videos for different social media platforms and advertising placements.
• Implement revisions based on feedback from Editors, Producers, and Creative Strategists.
• Perform quality checks to ensure videos meet technical specifications and brand guidelines.
• Export, upload, and organize final video deliverables according to project requirements.
• Maintain organized project files and ensure proper file naming, version control, and asset management.
• Collaborate remotely with the post-production team to meet deadlines and maintain efficient editing workflows.

Who You Are

• At least 1 year of experience in video editing, post-production, or a related field.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro. Experience with Adobe After Effects is a plus.
• Familiar with short-form video formats and content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Meta Ads.
• Strong understanding of basic editing techniques, pacing, audio synchronization, and video formatting.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and file management skills.
• Comfortable working with large volumes of footage and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Able to follow creative direction, incorporate feedback, and deliver work within tight deadlines.
• Strong English communication skills and comfortable collaborating with a remote team.
• Reliable internet connection and a computer capable of handling professional video editing software.
• Eager to learn, quick to adapt, and excited to take on new creative challenges.
