High Scale is seeking an Assistant Video Editor to support our post-production team in delivering high-quality video content at scale. The role focuses on organizing assets, creating rough cuts, and assisting senior editors with short-form ads for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience, strong Premiere Pro skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset. Remote collaboration with a global team is expected, with opportunities to grow into senior roles.

Formación

• At least 1 year of experience in video editing or post-production.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro; After Effects experience is a plus.
• Familiar with short-form video formats for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Meta Ads.
• Strong English communication and ability to collaborate remotely.

Responsabilidades

• Organize, label, and manage raw footage, audio files, graphics, and other production assets.
• Review and select best footage, takes, and sound bites for video projects.
• Create rough cuts and assemble footage based on scripts, storyboards, and briefs.
• Assist Senior Video Editors with editing short-form ads for social platforms.
• Synchronize audio and video and prepare project timelines for editors.
• Add basic transitions, subtitles, captions, and music as needed.
• Resize and reformat videos for different platforms and placements.
• Export, upload, and organize final deliverables per project requirements.
• Maintain organized project files and asset management.

We're looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated Assistant Video Editor to support our post-production team in delivering high-quality video content at scale.

What You'll Do

• Organize, label, and manage raw footage, audio files, graphics, and other production assets.

• Review and select the best footage, takes, and sound bites for video projects.

• Create rough cuts and assemble footage based on scripts, storyboards, and creative briefs.

• Assist Senior Video Editors with editing short-form advertisements for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.

• Synchronize audio and video, organize multicamera footage, and prepare project timelines for editors.

• Add basic transitions, subtitles, captions, sound effects, and music when needed.

• Resize and reformat videos for different social media platforms and advertising placements.

• Implement revisions based on feedback from Editors, Producers, and Creative Strategists.

• Perform quality checks to ensure videos meet technical specifications and brand guidelines.

• Export, upload, and organize final video deliverables according to project requirements.

• Maintain organized project files and ensure proper file naming, version control, and asset management.

• Collaborate remotely with the post-production team to meet deadlines and maintain efficient editing workflows.

Who You Are

• At least 1 year of experience in video editing, post-production, or a related field.

• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro. Experience with Adobe After Effects is a plus.

• Familiar with short-form video formats and content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Meta Ads.

• Strong understanding of basic editing techniques, pacing, audio synchronization, and video formatting.

• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and file management skills.

• Comfortable working with large volumes of footage and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Able to follow creative direction, incorporate feedback, and deliver work within tight deadlines.

• Strong English communication skills and comfortable collaborating with a remote team.

• Reliable internet connection and a computer capable of handling professional video editing software.

• Eager to learn, quick to adapt, and excited to take on new creative challenges.
