Walden Security is recruiting experienced Court Security Officers (CSOs) to provide armed security for courthouses under the USMS contract. Responsibilities include entrance control, roving patrols, stationary posts, and escort duties for judges and court personnel.

Requirements include a GED or high school diploma, 3 years of verifiable law enforcement experience, English proficiency, a valid driver’s license, and certification from an approved law enforcement academy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years of verifiable law enforcement experience within last seven years, with arrest authority.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record (past 5 years).
• Certification from Federal, state, county, local or military law enforcement training academy required.

Responsabilités

• Control entry points and screen for weapons, contraband, and prohibited items.
• Roaming patrols of court facilities and grounds.
• Stationary post assignments including CCTV and alarm systems.
• Provide armed escort duties for judges and court personnel.
• Direct traffic and manage parking/pedestrian flow on facility properties.
• Enforce federal law and protect government employees and property.
• Prepare reports on contract performance, incidents, and security concerns.
• Secure unattended courtrooms and test security devices prior to proceedings.
• Maintain courtroom order and enforce rules and judicial orders.
