Aquiva Labs, Inc. is seeking a manual QA Analyst to join an Agile delivery team. You will read user stories, identify missing details, write test cases, and run them by hand to verify functionality against the stories.

The day-to-day runs in Spanish, with written English for the wider team. This is a fully remote role supporting Argentina, Uruguay, or Colombia. English proficiency at B1+ is expected.

Formación

• 3+ years of hands-on manual QA experience.

• Basic programming skills.

About the role

We are looking for a manual QA Analyst to work inside an Agile delivery team, close to the people writing the stories and the people writing the code.

You will read user stories before they are built and find what is missing in them, write the test cases that prove the functionality does what the story says, and run those cases by hand. When something breaks, you are the person who explains it clearly enough that a developer can act on it without a second conversation.

You do not need Salesforce experience to apply. We would rather hire someone who tests well and teach them the platform than the other way around. The day-to-day runs in Spanish, and you will use written English with the wider team.

What you'll do

• Story analysis. Analyze user stories for inaccuracies or missing details before development starts.

• Test case design. Write comprehensive test cases for user stories.

• Manual testing. Run those cases to verify that the functionality matches the story.

• Agile collaboration. Work inside a delivery team through its full cycle, with the Product Owner and the developers.

• Clear defect reporting. Communicate issues to developers early, with enough detail to act on.

Must-have

• 3+ years of hands-on manual QA experience.

• API testing. Proven experience testing APIs.

• Web application testing. Experience testing web-based projects and applications.

• Basic programming skills.

• English, B1 or above. Written English for the wider team. The day-to-day runs in Spanish.

Nice to have

• Experience testing Salesforce or another heavily configured business platform

• ISTQB certification

• Knowledge of automating basic test cases with Selenium WebDriver (Java or JavaScript binding)

• Experience automating UI, API, and load testing
