Coderio is a remote-first company seeking a Senior Machine Learning Ops Engineer to own architecture, development, and automation of end-to-end ML solutions. You will bridge data science and software engineering, evaluate cloud solutions, and deploy scalable models into production.

You will be responsible for ML lifecycle health, cloud performance, and delivering high-quality scalable solutions with business impact. Strong collaboration and mentoring are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or computer science, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience deploying ML in production environments.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Spark.
• Experience with Docker, Git, Bash, FastAPI, SageMaker Studio, Airflow, and CloudFormation.
• Solid understanding of data architectures and systems integration.
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills.
• Experience with AWS and GCP cloud platforms.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsabilidades

This is a high-impact technical role. We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Ops Engineer to join our team. You will own the architecture, development, and automation of end-to-end machine learning solutions. Operating within an established engineering team, you will be a key player in bridging the gap between data science and software engineering, evaluating cloud solutions, and deploying scalable machine learning models into production.

This is a hands-on execution role. You are responsible for the technical health of the ML lifecycle, the performance and cost-efficiency of the cloud architecture, and delivering high-quality, scalable solutions that drive business value.

What To Expect In This Role (Responsibilities)

• ML Architecture & Development: Architect and develop robust, end-to-end machine learning solutions.

• MLOps & Automation: Manage and automate the complete machine learning lifecycle, ensuring seamless transitions from development to production.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with data engineers and data scientists to create highly scalable solutions and integrate them with other technical areas across the software development life cycle.

• Cloud & Architecture Strategy: Work on cloud solutions, actively evaluating the performance and cost-efficiency of potential architectures.

• Business Alignment: Interact with other teams and stakeholders to deeply understand business challenges and propose effective technical solutions.

• Mentorship & Advocacy: Communicate technical concepts clearly and teach teams how to properly use and adopt the new developments.

Requirements

• Educational Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in software engineering/computer science, or proven equivalent experience in data engineering or machine learning roles.

• ML Deployment Mastery: Proven hands-on experience implementing and deploying machine learning solutions in production environments.

• Core Stack Expertise: Advanced knowledge of Python, SQL, and Spark.

• Tooling & Infrastructure: Strong knowledge in (or similar to) Docker, Git, Bash Scripting, FastAPI, Sagemaker Studio, Airflow, and CloudFormation.

• Architecture & Integration: Solid understanding of data architectures and complex systems integration.

• Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and solve complex software system issues.

• Cloud Platforms: Extensive experience with modern cloud platforms, specifically AWS and GCP.

• Soft Skills: Must be a team player who effectively participates within the group. We are looking for a curious profile, a self-learner with a positive attitude, and excellent communication skills.

• Domain experience in payments or other complex financial systems is a huge plus.

Estamos buscando un/a Senior Machine Learning Engineer para sumarse a un equipo de Data & Machine Learning y brindar liderazgo técnico en el desarrollo, entrenamiento, despliegue y monitoreo de modelos de Machine Learning sobre AWS.

La persona que se incorpore tendrá un rol clave acompañando y guiando a un equipo junior, estableciendo buenas prácticas de MLOps, experimentación, versionado y despliegue, y contribuyendo a garantizar que los modelos sean confiables, monitoreables y estén preparados para ambientes productivos.

¿Qué vas a hacer en este rol?

• Liderazgo Técnico: Guiar y acompañar a un equipo junior en la construcción y evolución de modelos de Machine Learning.

• Model Training: Apoyar el entrenamiento de modelos utilizando Amazon SageMaker, asegurando buenas prácticas de experimentación y reproducibilidad.

• Model Deployment: Participar en el despliegue de modelos en Amazon SageMaker y acompañar al equipo durante el proceso hacia producción.

• MLOps: Definir y promover buenas prácticas para el versionado, experimentación, entrenamiento y desplieguede modelos.

• Model Monitoring: Implementar y asesorar sobre estrategias de monitoreo de modelos y datos en entornos productivos.

• Data & Model Drift: Participar en la detección y análisis de data drift, model drift y degradación del rendimiento de los modelos.

• Model Explainability & Fairness: Brindar lineamientos sobre explicabilidad, sesgo y evaluación de modelos, promoviendo soluciones confiables y responsables.

• Graph Machine Learning: Acompañar casos de uso relacionados con grafos y Graph Neural Networks (GNN).

• Technical Guidance: Ayudar al equipo a resolver desafíos técnicos y promover estándares de ingeniería y Machine Learning.

Requisitos

• Experiencia de al menos 4 años en roles de Machine Learning Engineering, MLOps o roles relacionados.

• Experiencia práctica y hands-on con Amazon SageMaker.

• Experiencia en entrenamiento y despliegue de modelos utilizando SageMaker.

• Experiencia con monitoreo de modelos y datos en entornos productivos.

• Conocimiento y experiencia trabajando con data drift y model monitoring.

• Experiencia con Amazon SageMaker Clarify.

• Conocimiento o experiencia con Amazon Neptune.

• Sólidos conocimientos de prácticas de MLOps, incluyendo versionado, experimentación y despliegue de modelos.

• Capacidad para establecer buenas prácticas y acompañar técnicamente a perfiles junior.

Será un plus

• Experiencia con Graph Machine Learning.

• Experiencia desarrollando o trabajando con Graph Neural Networks (GNN).

• Experiencia avanzada con Amazon Neptune.

• Experiencia diseñando estrategias completas de model monitoring.

• Experiencia trabajando con soluciones de Machine Learning en ambientes productivos de alta escala.
