A leading software development company in Argentina is seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer to design and implement end-to-end AI solutions, build sophisticated LLM applications, and develop custom ML models. Formación

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong fundamentals.
• 5+ years deploying production machine learning systems at scale.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with LLMs, including API integration and local deployment.

• Proficiency with data manipulation tools: pandas, NumPy, SQL, and big data frameworks.
• Expert-level Python proficiency with deep knowledge of ML frameworks.
• Proven experience with modern AI techniques: RAG, vector search, prompt engineering, and agentic systems.
• Strong cloud platform expertise with containerization and orchestration experience.
• Experience building scalable microservices, APIs, and ML inference pipelines.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage complex projects.
• Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership.

What you will do

• Design and implement end-to-end AI solutions for clients across various industries and use cases;
• Build sophisticated LLM applications using RAG, vector databases, fine-tuning, and agentic workflows;
• Develop custom ML models for client-specific challenges including NLP, computer vision, and predictive analytics;
• Independently assess, clean, and engineer features from complex, messy datasets;
• Own the complete data pipeline from ingestion through model training and deployment;
• Lead technical discovery sessions and solution architecture discussions with client stakeholders;
• Present technical concepts and project outcomes to executive leadership and technical teams;
• Mentor junior engineers and establish AI/ML best practices across client engagements;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and business stakeholders;
• Contribute to internal R&D initiatives and thought leadership in AI/ML.

• Must haves

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong fundamentals;
• 5+ years deploying production machine learning systems at scale;
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with LLMs, including API integration and local deployment;
• Strong data engineering and data science expertise—you can work with raw, unstructured data and transform it into ML-ready datasets;
• Proficiency with data manipulation tools: pandas, NumPy, SQL, and big data frameworks (Spark, Dask);
• Expert-level Python proficiency with deep knowledge of ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face);
• Proven experience with modern AI techniques: RAG, vector search, prompt engineering, and agentic systems;
• Strong cloud platform expertise (AWS, GCP, Azure) with containerization and orchestration experience;
• Experience building scalable microservices, APIs, and ML inference pipelines;
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage complex projects end-to-end with minimal oversight;
• Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership;
• Consulting mindset with ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions;
• Track record of leading technical projects from conception to production deployment;
