Job summary

Sezzle is seeking a Risk & Disputes Intern to analyze card and ACH disputes and drive timely resolutions. You’ll work with fraud and disputes teams to determine the best course of action for customers, while identifying patterns and improvements in processes.

This paid internship runs full-time Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–5:30 pm CT. You will gain hands-on experience in fraud prevention and collaborate with data scientists and engineers to reduce losses.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Investigate disputed transactions and resolve disputes within timeframes.
• Collaborate with fraud and disputes teams to determine next steps.
• Analyze individual transactions using internal policies to identify patterns.
• Understand systems and tools; analyze account patterns.
• Work with analysts and data scientists to improve loss prevention.
• Gain domain knowledge of fraud prevention techniques.
• Maintain SLAs for timely resolution of cases.
• Handle escalations professionally.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, research, and communication.
