Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Frontend / UX Engineer to join a fast-growing U.S. fintech company building a cross-border Digital Wallet.

You will focus on frontend-first development, turning UX designs into scalable, production-ready wallet features, and using AI-powered tools to extend your reach across the stack. You will impact user interactions with financial products, balancing UX quality, technical excellence, and delivery speed, while working remotely across LATAM.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience building fintech applications, digital wallets, or payment platforms.
• Solid understanding of UX principles, usability, interaction design, and user-centered development.
• Proven track record of building polished, production-ready user interfaces.
• Experience turning Figma designs into working applications.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools like Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot.
• Ability to deliver complete features across frontend and backend boundaries.
• Experience with REST APIs and Backend for Frontend (BFF) architectures.
• Strong frontend architecture, reusable components, and state management.
• Experience in Agile product development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality user interfaces for a Digital Wallet.
• Translate UX/UI designs and product requirements into functional, responsive applications.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to improve user journeys and usability.
• Own features end-to-end from requirements to delivery.
• Use AI-powered tools to speed up frontend and full-stack development.
• Build and maintain Backend for Frontend (BFF) services.
• Implement API integrations and backend functionality when needed.
• Ensure performance, accessibility, and maintainability across the app.
• Participate in code reviews and improve development practices.
• Find ways to simplify workflows with AI-assisted engineering.
