Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Frontend / UX Engineer to join a fintech-focused, remote LATAM team. You will build a Digital Wallet UI and related features, turning UX designs into production-ready code while leveraging AI-assisted tools for faster delivery.

You will own end-to-end frontend work, collaborate with product and design, and contribute to BFF services and API integrations when needed. This is a full-time contractor role with a strong emphasis on performance and accessibility.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience building fintech applications or digital wallets is a plus.
• Solid understanding of UX, usability, and user-centered development.
• Ability to deliver production-ready UI with clean, maintainable code.
• Experience turning designs into working applications and REST API integration.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools and modern frontend tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality user interfaces for a Digital Wallet.
• Translate UX/UI designs into functional, responsive applications.
• Collaborate with product and design to improve user journeys and usability.
• Own features end-to-end from requirements to delivery.
• Use AI-powered tools to speed frontend and full-stack development.
• Build and maintain BFF services and API integrations as needed.
• Ensure performance, accessibility, and maintainability across the app.
• Participate in code reviews and improve development practices.
• Find ways to simplify development workflows with AI-assisted engineering.
