OneSeven Technology (formerly 17 Web Dev) is looking for an Application Security Engineer who will own the security posture of the MCP infrastructure, focusing on JWT authentication and secrets management. This fully remote role requires near-native English and hands-on experience in application security.

The ideal candidate will work directly with the client’s technical lead, ensuring a secure infrastructure while managing prompt injection risks and other security challenges. A long-term contract with a competitive salary is offered.

Formación

• Experience in identifying vulnerabilities and running security tools.
• Ability to manage authentication and authorization in production.
• Demonstrated experience in application security focused on AI/LLM.

Responsabilidades

• Own and implement JWT-based authentication and manage secrets.
• Identify and remediate prompt injection risks.
• Review and harden AWS infrastructure configurations.
• Work through existing application security backlog.
• Document security controls and threat models.

Hands-on application security engineering experience

Comfortable as the sole security voice on a team
