Entara is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join the finance team in Buenos Aires, offering a hybrid/remote engagement via Deel. You will work closely with the Controller to manage day-to-day accounting, maintain records in QuickBooks Enterprise, and support monthly close.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of hands-on accounting, strong English, and a keen eye for accuracy. The role provides exposure to a global industry and dynamic technical environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA track or completed degree).
• 1–2 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in professional services.
• Proven proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise Suite is mandatory.
• Advanced / Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Daily bookkeeping: record bills, invoices, payments, and transactions.
• Accounts Payable: process vendor payments and maintain AP records.
• Accounts Receivable: assist with AR activities and follow-ups.
• Reconciliations: daily/monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Month-End Close: support the Controller with close processes.
• System Maintenance: maintain records in QuickBooks Enterprise.
• Compliance & Coding: ensure proper coding and documentation.
• Ad-Hoc: assist with financial reporting and audit requests.

Role Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will work closely with the Controller to manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Enterprise, and support monthly close processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Bookkeeping: Record bills, invoices, payments, and general financial transactions accurately.
• Accounts Payable (AP): Process vendor payments, review supporting documentation, and maintain up-to-date AP records.
• Accounts Receivable (AR): Assist with AR activities and perform necessary follow-ups.
• Reconciliations: Perform daily/monthly bank and credit card reconciliations; identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Month-End Close: Support the Controller with the monthly accounting close, basic journal entries, and financial reconciliations.
• System Maintenance: Maintain accurate and timely accounting records within QuickBooks Enterprise.
• Compliance & Coding: Ensure all transactions are properly coded, supported by documentation, and aligned with company standards.
• Ad-Hoc Support: Assist the Controller with financial reporting, ad-hoc tasks, and audit/information requests.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA track or completed degree).
• Experience: 1 – 2 years of hands-on accounting experience (experience in professional services firms is highly desirable).
• Software: Proven proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise Suite is mandatory.
• Languages: Advanced / Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Skills:
