Hello, Account Managers!

My name is Abby and I am the Operations Manager at ResultStory. Our company recognizes that in today’s online world, a good product or service must always be backed up with top quality and unimpeachable credibility. We are looking to hire a motivated Account Manager who can own the relationship with our accounts and shape their content strategy. Their mission is to ensure our accounts benefit from a service that makes it ridiculously quick and easy for them to publish consistent video content on social media and produces real results (engagement and ROI).

Responsibilities:

  1. Building rapport with accounts.
  2. Shaping a social content strategy.
  3. Overseeing the production and publishing of social media video assets.
  4. Monitoring social media account metrics.
  5. Ensuring each account is successful and has a great experience.
  6. Problem-solving and finding solutions for account queries.

Ultimately, the long-term retention of the accounts is their primary measure of success. This is a part-time and full-time role.

Requirements:

  1. Native (or very advanced) standard of English (written & spoken).
  2. Must have 3+ years experience working in Digital Marketing.
  3. Must have 3+ years experience of Relationship Management.
  4. Must have 3+ years experience of Project Management.
  5. Ideally 2+ years experience working specifically as an Account Manager for a marketing agency.
  6. Ideally 2+ years experience of in-depth Social Media Management.
  7. Strong knowledge of social media and content marketing.
  8. Excellent relationship management skills - a people person.
  9. Able to resolve complex client queries and complaints, and retain and upsell accounts.
  10. Able to manage client deliverable creation as projects, delegate effectively and track work assigned.
  11. Very comfortable conducting video calls.
  12. Have an internet upload & download speed of 10 Mbps or more with consistent internet and electric.
  13. Has a webcam and quiet, dedicated workspace.
  14. Can both work independently and also contribute to a team.
  15. They need to be able to make a commitment to being consistently available for the agreed hours (their weekly/monthly capacity to work for RS must not depend on other work commitments).
  16. Organized, dependable, with great work ethic: we need to hit our turnarounds with accounts.
  17. Someone who takes ownership and can use critical thinking to solve problems.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  1. Managing The Onboarding Process for New Accounts.
  2. Sending the onboarding form.
  3. Scheduling the recurring interview date.
  4. Holding Account Kickoff Calls.
  5. Interviewing Our Accounts Monthly To Produce Video Content.
  6. Delivering Monthly questions sets to accounts.
  7. Ensuring that the accounts are able to show up to their set monthly interview.
  8. Running the monthly interview.
  9. Overseeing Production/Publishing of Great Social Media Video Content.
  10. Delegating appropriate parts of the process to Video Editors, Copywriters, & Publishers.
  11. Acting as second set of eyes to ensure that assets are free of error and high quality.
  12. Sending checked assets to accounts for approval and acting as a liaison between accounts and VE/copywriters when edits are needed.
  13. Double checking assets before publishing for any errors.
  14. Publishing assets on accounts' socials via Social Pilot.
  15. Ensuring that assets are produced on time.
  16. Reviewing performance metrics and reporting these to accounts.
  17. Amending each account's content/social media strategy to optimize their results.
  18. Serving as the main point of contact for accounts.
  19. Keeping accounts informed of the status of their assets.
  20. Relaying monthly wins to accounts.
  21. Preventing issues by proactively identifying any potential problems with an account and solving them before they occur.
  22. Owning and solving account issues/concerns - combining an awareness of commercial impacts and empathy with the account’s situations.
  23. Hearing account feedback and quickly addressing concerns and improving the experience.
  24. Holding regular calls with accounts.
  25. Upselling accounts additional services.
  26. Proactively acting to retain accounts who make cancellation inquiries.
