Jam City is seeking a skilled 3D Artist to contribute to a brand new game in the Narrative Game division. You will model and texture props, environments and characters, and implement assets in the engine. A portfolio link is required with application.

You will collaborate with the Art Lead and Art Director to establish and maintain the game's look, optimize assets for real-time rendering, and help refine pipelines for efficiency.

Formación

• At least 3 years in 3D games.
• Experience shipping a complete 3D game.
• Mastery of Maya and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiar with real-time shading and shaders.
• Proficient with Substance Painter and PBR textures.
• Strong across environments and characters.
• Solid understanding of anatomy.
• Strong composition, color, value, form for gameplay visuals.
• Knowledge of the 3D pipeline and cross-discipline collaboration.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Art Degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Unity.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong 2D concept and illustration skills.
• Rigging in Maya.
• Maya scripting (Mel or Python).
• Shader creation in shader graph tools.
• Knowledge of Substance Designer.
• Experience with ZBrush.

Responsabilidades

• Modeling and texturing assets to production standards.
• Create high-quality 3D environments, props and characters.
• Collaborate with Art Lead/Director on look and style.
• Identify and fix visual issues in assets and interactions.
• Improve asset creation pipelines for efficiency.
• Interface with leads on deadlines and reviews.
• Address aesthetic and technical development challenges.
• Assist tech art with rigging and skinning when needed.
