Softgic is seeking a Manual QA Engineer to ensure the quality of web, mobile, and backend systems through functional testing, API validation, and data integrity checks. The role emphasizes rigorous defect analysis and comprehensive test coverage.

You will design and execute test plans, cases, and scenarios, perform API testing, and run SQL queries to validate data consistency. Collaboration with Development and Product teams will be essential to drive quality improvements.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Manual QA.
• Experience testing web and back-end applications.
• Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Hands-on experience with API testing.
• Ability to execute SQL queries for data validation.
• Experience with exploratory, usability, and risk-based testing.
• Excellent bug documentation skills, including clear reproduction steps, logs, and supporting evidence.
• Experience collaborating with Development, Product, and teams.

We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience , focused on ensuring the quality of web applications, mobile applications, and back-end systems through functional testing, API and data validation, and detailed defect analysis.

Key Technical Skills

• Manual Testing: Test Plans, Test Cases & Test Scenarios
• Testing: Regression, Smoke & Exploratory Testing
• API Testing: Postman or Bruno
• Database: SQL & Data Integrity Validation
• Compatibility: Cross-browser, Cross-device & Cross-platform Testing
• Bug Tracking: JIRA, QMetry, Zephyr, or TestRail
• QA Fundamentals: SDLC, STLC & Defect Lifecycle
• AI for QA: ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor & LLMs
• Prompt Engineering: Practical application in QA processes
