Résumé du poste
A leading inspection services company is seeking a QC Inspector – E&I for projects in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering and 5-10 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas projects. Responsibilities include inspecting installation and commissioning of systems, verifying compliance with specifications, and ensuring safety practices during inspections. The position offers a competitive all-inclusive salary package and is site-based with a flexible work schedule.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in E&I inspection roles in Oil & Gas projects.
Responsabilités
- Inspect installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Ensure compliance with approved construction drawings, vendor documents, and client specifications.
- Conduct inspections for cable laying, glanding, termination, loop checking, and continuity tests.
- Verify installation of electrical panels, transformers, lighting, grounding, and lightning protection systems.
- Review ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans), checklists, and ensure proper documentation.
- Coordinate with QA/QC, construction, commissioning, and client teams.
- Witness functional testing of control systems including DCS, PLCs, ESD, and Fire & Gas systems.
- Ensure safety practices and adherence to PTW (Permit to Work) system during inspections.
