- Assess and diagnose orthopedic conditions in animals through comprehensive medical evaluations.
- Perform advanced orthopedic surgical procedures including but not limited to fracture repair, joint stabilization, and corrective surgeries.
- Oversee the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care of surgical patients, including managing pain and ensuring patient recovery.
- Collaborate closely with veterinary technicians and support staff to maintain high standards of care.
- Educate pet owners about orthopedic conditions, treatment options, and postoperative care protocols.
- Keep abreast of the latest advancements in veterinary orthopedics and implement evidence-based practices.
- Maintain detailed medical records in compliance with veterinary regulations and organizational policies.
- Veterinary degree recognized by the local authority with a valid Ministry License in Abu Dhabi.
- Specialization in Orthopedic Surgery with hands-on experience is essential.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a veterinary capacity specifically in orthopedic surgery.
- Demonstrated proficiency in various surgical techniques and postoperative management.
- Strong client communication skills and capacity to explain complex medical concepts to pet owners.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to mentor junior staff and work collaboratively.
