Job summary
A construction company in Sharjah, UAE is seeking a Construction Finishing Foreman to oversee and coordinate all finishing activities on construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. Responsibilities include managing trades such as drywall, painting, flooring, and carpentry, while ensuring projects meet design specifications. Candidates must exhibit strong supervisory skills and knowledge of building codes and safety practices.

Skills
The Construction Finishing Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating all finishing activities on construction projects to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. This role oversees skilled trades during the final phases of construction, including drywall, painting, flooring, carpentry, and fixture installation, ensuring the project meets design specifications and client expectations.
- Supervise daily finishing operations on construction sites
- Coordinate and manage finishing crews and subcontractors
- Ensure work is performed according to drawings, specifications, and building codes
- Plan and schedule finishing activities to meet project deadlines
- Inspect completed work to ensure high quality and address deficiencies
- Enforce site safety policies and promote a safe working environment
- Communicate progress, issues, and material needs to the Site Superintendent or Project Manager
- Review and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and finish schedules
- Track labor, materials, and productivity for finishing trades
- Resolve on-site issues, conflicts, or delays related to finishing work
- Ensure proper use, care, and storage of tools and materials
- Assist with punch lists, inspections, and project close-out
