A facilities management company in Dubai seeks a professional to manage store equipment repairs and maintenance. Responsibilities include diagnosing kitchen equipment issues, coordinating with vendors, and preparing maintenance budgets. The ideal candidate will possess skills in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring operational support and maintaining a safe, efficient environment, particularly during store relocations and openings.
Qualifikationen
- Ability to diagnose and repair various kitchen equipment including fryers and refrigeration units.
- Knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing maintenance.
- Experience in coordinating with service vendors and managing budgets.
Aufgaben
- Diagnose and repair kitchen equipment quickly and safely.
- Create and manage the planned maintenance calendar.
- Coordinate with vendors and monitor job quality.
- Prepare maintenance budgets and track repair costs.
- Assist operations teams during equipment setup.
Kenntnisse
- Diagnose and repair kitchen equipment such as fryers ovens tandoors exhaust systems refrigeration units chillers and freezers
- Handle basic electrical plumbing carpentry and civil repairs at the store level
- Attend urgent breakdowns and restore operations quickly and safely
- Maintain proper records of repairs and parts used
- Create and follow a planned maintenance calendar for each outlet in conjunction with Operations team
- Carry out routine servicing of major equipment to reduce breakdowns
- Inspect critical systems and flag issues before they become problems
- Ensure HACCP-related equipment checks are completed and documented
- Coordinate with approved service vendors AMC providers and contractors
- Review job quality and ensure work is completed within timelines
- Assist in evaluating quotations for repairs and projects
- Follow up on warranty claims and service agreements
- Prepare basic maintenance budgets and forecasts for stores
- Track repair costs and suggest cost-saving measures without compromising quality
- Maintain inventory of essential spares and consumables
- Assist operations teams during equipment setup relocation or new store openings
- Train store staff on basic equipment handling and care
- Support day-to-day operational needs related to maintenance
