Job summary

Simone's Tutoring is seeking a professional Manners, Etiquette & Respect Skills Tutor to work with children and teenagers, focusing on social, behavioural, and communication development. This freelance/contract role involves one-on-one coaching to build confidence, empathy, and responsible citizenship across home, school, and community settings.

You will teach age-appropriate manners, respectful behaviour, and practical life skills, using role-playing and real-life scenarios while supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology or related field.
• MOHRE Tutor Permit or eligible to obtain.
• Minimum 2 years' experience with children or adolescents.
• Strong understanding of child development and SEL.

Responsibilities

• Assess each student's social, behavioural, and communication strengths and areas for development.
• Develop personalised coaching programmes tailored to age and goals.
• Teach manners, etiquette, and respectful behaviour in various settings.
• Help students develop positive communication skills, active listening and polite conversation.
• Teach empathy, kindness, gratitude, and responsibility.
• Develop confidence in greetings, table manners, hospitality, and public behaviour.
• Use role-playing, stories, and real-life scenarios to reinforce learning.
• Encourage positive peer relationships, conflict resolution, and cooperation.
• Guide parents with practical strategies to reinforce respectful behaviour at home.
• Maintain professional session records and monitor progress.
