Job summary

Simone's Tutoring is seeking a caring Respect, Listening & Positive Behaviour Tutor to help children and teens develop social-emotional skills and respectful communication. You will conduct one-on-one coaching sessions online, at home, or in schools, building empathy, self-discipline and positive behaviour.

Minimum 2 years with children or adolescents plus MOHRE Tutor Permit eligibility. This independent contractor role offers flexible freelance hours and competitive commission-based earnings in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Counselling, Social Work or related field.
• MOHRE Tutor Permit or eligibility to obtain.
• Minimum 2 years' experience with children or adolescents in educational, behavioural, counselling, or youth development settings.
• Knowledge of child development, positive behaviour support, and SEL.

Responsibilities

• Assess each student’s behavioural, social, and communication strengths and areas for development.
• Develop personalised coaching programmes tailored to age and goals.
• Teach respectful communication, active listening, and positive interpersonal skills.
• Promote empathy, kindness, honesty and personal responsibility.
• Develop strategies to encourage self-control, cooperation, and good decision-making.
• Teach conflict resolution and problem-solving using role-play and real-life scenarios.
• Maintain session records and monitor student progress.
• Collaborate with tutors, educators, counsellors and other professionals.
