Job summary

ATW Group in Dubai seeks an experienced Workshop Manager to schedule, manage, and deliver projects across ATW Make and ATW Build. You will coordinate with Team Leads, Producers, and fabrication teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Lead workshops, manage resources, and uphold safety and quality standards while supporting on-site installations and training staff for high-performance delivery.

• Schedule and manage all workshop activities across ATW Make and ATW Build.

• Coordinate with Team Leads, Producers, 3D Modellers, and fabrication teams.
• Allocate resources, staff, and materials for each project.
• Maintain tools, materials and equipment; enforce safety standards.
• Support on-site installations and deliveries as required.
• Continuously review processes to improve efficiency and safety.
• Provide guidance and training to workshop staff.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced hands‑on Workshop Manager to schedule, manage, and deliver all projects across ATW Make (fibreglass models, 3D printing) and ATW Build (LEGO structures) in Dubai. This role ensures smooth operations, efficient workflows, and high-quality delivery of all builds and prototypes, coordinating closely with the LEGO Builder & Team Lead and the production teams.

The role

• Schedule, plan, and manage all workshop activities across ATW Make and ATW Build
• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met
• Coordinate and support the Team Leads and Producers, as well as 3D Modellers, Production Technologists, and fabrication teams, to ensure smooth project execution
• Allocate resources, staff, and materials effectively for each project
• Maintain workshop organisation, including tools, materials, and production equipment
• Implement and enforce workshop processes, quality control, and safety standards
• Support on-site installations or delivery as required
• Continuously review and improve workshop processes for efficiency, safety, and quality
• Provide guidance and training to workshop staff, fostering a collaborative, high-performance team

Required skills and qualifications

• Proven experience managing workshops, fabrication, or production teams in creative or experiential build environments
• Strong organisational, planning, and resource management skills
• Knowledge of fabrication processes including 3D printing, fibreglass, and build workflows
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and leading cross‑functional teams
• Excellent problem‑solving, collaboration, and communication skills
• Strong understanding of production safety, quality control, and materials management
• Experience coordinating with specialist builders or technical leads is highly desirable
• Happy to be hands on to supporting across multidisciplinary fabrications
