Absolute Technical Systems LLP in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead heavy equipment maintenance and repair operations. You will oversee a team of technicians, schedule tasks, and ensure timely, high-quality service for a diverse fleet of excavators, loaders, bulldozers, and other construction machinery.

The role emphasizes safety, compliance with manufacturer specs, and cost-aware maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and lead a team of heavy equipment technicians.
• Plan, schedule, and allocate daily tasks and preventative maintenance activities for all heavy equipment.
• Oversee the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, bulldozers, graders, etc.).
• Ensure repairs are completed efficiently, to high quality standards, and in safety compliance.
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality control and identify potential issues.
• Manage spare parts inventory, ordering, and tracking to minimize downtime.
• Implement and enforce strict health, safety, and environmental policies in the workshop.
• Maintain accurate service records, repair logs, and documentation for all maintenance.
• Liaise with clients, project managers, and departments for updates on status and timelines.
• Identify training needs for technicians and facilitate development opportunities.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to resolve issues.
• Optimize workshop layout and processes for efficiency.
• Prepare reports on workshop performance, equipment reliability, and costs.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Workshop Supervisor to lead our heavy equipment maintenance and repair operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all workshop activities, ensuring the efficient and high-quality repair and maintenance of a diverse fleet of heavy machinery. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and allocate daily tasks and preventative maintenance activities for all heavy equipment, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
• Oversee the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of various heavy equipment, including excavators, loaders, bulldozers, graders, and other construction or mining machinery.
• Ensure all repairs are completed efficiently, to the highest quality standards, and in compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and completed work to maintain quality control and identify potential issues.
• Manage spare parts inventory, ordering, and tracking to ensure availability and minimize downtime.
• Implement and enforce strict health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures within the workshop.
• Maintain accurate service records, repair logs, and documentation for all equipment maintenance activities.
• Liaise with clients, project managers, and other departments to provide updates on equipment status and repair timelines.
• Identify training needs for technicians and facilitate professional development opportunities.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to resolve persistent equipment issues.
• Optimize workshop layout and processes for improved efficiency and productivity.
• Prepare reports on workshop performance, equipment reliability, and maintenance costs.

Salary : AED 3500 - 4500 + Free Food & Accommodation + Benefits
