Job summary

Rakbank is seeking a Wholesale Banking Architect to lead architecture and design for treasury and transaction banking platforms. You will drive cloud-native, API-first solutions and integrate with CRM/ERP and regulatory systems in a large wholesale banking environment.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in banking, deep treasury and TB knowledge, and strong experience with AWS, microservices, and API management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in banking/financial services
• Experience in Treasury and Transaction Banking (Cash Management, Payments, Trade Finance, Liquidity)
• Familiarity with ISO 20022, SWIFT, PSD2, Basel III, AML/KYC

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end architecture for Treasury and TB platforms.
• Design digital banking platforms leveraging microservices, APIs, and event-driven architecture.
• Drive AWS cloud-native adoption with scalable, cost-optimized architectures.
• Enable API-first strategy, integrating core banking, treasury, and TB with digital channels and partners.
• Lead surround systems integration (CRM, ERP, regulatory reporting, risk systems).
• Translate business requirements into technical architectures with stakeholders.
