Job summary

RAKBANK is seeking a highly skilled Wholesale Banking Architect with SME in Treasury and Transaction Banking to lead architecture, design, and implementation of next-gen digital platforms. The role spans payments, liquidity, cash management, trade finance, and capital markets, with cloud-native AWS, microservices, and API-first delivery at the core.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in banking/financial services with 5+ years in Treasury and Transaction Banking.
• Deep knowledge of front-to-back Treasury, payments, cash management, liquidity, and trade finance.
• Proven enterprise/solution architecture for large-scale banking platforms and API-first strategies.
• Familiar with ISO 20022, SWIFT, PSD2, Basel III, AML/KYC and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end architecture for Treasury and Transaction Banking platforms.
• Design digital banking platforms using microservices, APIs, and event-driven tech.
• Drive cloud-native architecture on AWS with scalable, secure designs.
• Lead surround-system integrations (CRM, ERP, risk, regulatory reporting).
• Translate business requirements into technical architectures and roadmap.
