Job summary

WSP in the Middle East is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer (Wet Utilities) to plan, review designs, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and supervise construction of potable water, sewerage, stormwater, irrigation, and recycled water networks in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, 5–10+ years in infrastructure projects with wet utilities, and preferably a Professional Engineer certification. Site-based work with potential driving responsibilities is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 5-10+ years of experience in infrastructure projects with a focus on wet utilities.
• Professional Engineer certification or membership preferred.
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage for site-based roles.

Responsibilities

• Design & technical review of wet utility infrastructure designs, calculations, drawings and specs.
• Construction supervision of wet utility installations and site activities.
• Coordinate with roads, utilities, structures, landscape and MEP teams; liaise with clients and authorities.
• Ensure QA/QC, safety compliance, audits, and timely approvals from utility authorities.
