Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc is seeking a senior risk leader to head Wealth Risk for the UAE and MENAT. You will provide independent risk oversight across financial and non-financial risks, ensuring Wealth strategy aligns with risk appetite and regulatory expectations.

The role requires building strong governance with regional and global Wealth Risk priorities, and leading a high-performing team to support sustainable growth and risk management excellence.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Law or related field.
• Fluency in spoken and written English required.
• Experience in more than one technical risk discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent risk oversight and governance for Wealth in UAE/MENAT.
• Lead risk strategy alignment with Group policies and local requirements.
• Oversee risk appetite, risk maps, stress testing and scenario analysis.
• Develop and deploy Wealth Risk resources and drive a high-performing team.
