Job summary

TASC Outsourcing is seeking a Water Operations Operator to support safe, reliable operation of water treatment systems, pumping stations, wells, and distribution assets in the UAE. You will monitor controls, respond to alarms, maintain logs, and ensure compliance with SOPs and safety rules across the plant and site.

You will handle control-room monitoring, water quality checks, and operational reporting, contributing to continuous improvement and teamwork within the water utilities team.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Higher Diploma in a relevant technical discipline.
• Experience in water treatment, pumping stations, wells, and water distribution.
• Knowledge of RO processes and SOPs.
• Ability to interpret water quality test results.
• Strong record-keeping and attention to detail.
• Ability to respond to alarms and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Water Operations Operator – Pumping Stations & Wells
• Location: UAE
• Function: Operations & Maintenance / Water Utilities

We are looking for an experienced Water Operations Operator to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of water treatment systems, pumping stations, wells, and associated distribution assets.

The role will focus on equipment operation, control-room monitoring, emergency response, water quality monitoring, operational reporting, and compliance with safety and operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and control equipment and systems within water treatment and distribution operations.
• Monitor equipment through control panels, instrumentation, and computer-based monitoring systems.
• Track operational parameters including:
• Pressure
• Flow rates
• Temperature
• Voltage
• Current
• Follow approved SOPs for equipment start-up, shutdown, and normal operations.
• Respond to alarms, equipment failures, water quality issues, and operational emergencies.
• Take corrective action to maintain continuity of water supply and protect equipment.
• Monitor pumping stations, wells, and associated water assets.
• Maintain accurate operational logs, maintenance records, and water quality data.
• Monitor operational KPIs and support performance improvement initiatives.
• Support implementation of operational plans and departmental procedures.
• Ensure work is carried out in line with health, safety, and emergency-response requirements.
• Support team members with operational guidance and technical coordination where required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with applicable data, safety, and operational standards.
• Perform other related operational duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Higher Diploma in a relevant technical discipline.
• Experience in one or more of the following preferred:

• Pumping Stations
• Wells
• Water Distribution
• RO Plants
• Utility Operations
• Good understanding of control systems and monitoring equipment.
• Knowledge of water treatment and distribution systems.
• Ability to interpret water quality test results.
• Knowledge of Reverse Osmosis (RO) processes.
• Understanding of SOPs, operational limits, and emergency procedures.
• Ability to respond effectively to alarms and unexpected operational events.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping ability.
• Good communication, teamwork, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
