Job summary

SUNDUS MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY & STUDIES BUREAUL.L.C in Abu Dhabi seeks an RO plant operator to operate and monitor Reverse Osmosis systems and related equipment. You will check parameters, ensure water quality, and inspect pumps, membranes, and control panels while performing backwashing and chemical dosing per procedures.

• Experience in RO plant operation, water treatment, desalination, or utilities operations.
• Ability to read and understand technical parameters and operation logs.
• Knowledge of RO membranes, pumps, filters, dosing systems and control panels.
• Good communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor RO plant systems and equipment.
• Check system parameters such as pressure, flow, conductivity, pH, TDS and chemical dosing.
• Ensure treated water quality meets required standards.
• Inspect pumps, filters, membranes, valves, tanks and control panels.
• Perform backwashing, flushing, cleaning and chemical dosing as per procedure.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Identify abnormal readings, faults, leakages or issues and report immediately.
• Maintain operation logs, water quality reports and maintenance records.
• Follow safety procedures and HSE standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance, laboratory and operations teams as required.
• Ensure housekeeping of the RO plant and surrounding area.
• Assist in troubleshooting RO system issues and improving plant performance.

Operate and monitor Reverse Osmosis plant systems and related equipment Check system parameters such as pressure flow rate conductivity pH TDS and chemical dosing Ensure treated water quality meets required operational and safety standards Carry out routine inspection of pumps filters membranes valves tanks and control panels Perform backwashing flushing cleaning and chemical dosing as per procedure Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities Identify abnormal readings equipment faults leakages or operational issues and report immediately Maintain daily operation logs water quality reports chemical consumption records and maintenance records Follow safety procedures permit-to-work requirements and company HSE standards Coordinate with maintenance laboratory and operations teams when required Ensure proper housekeeping of the RO plant and surrounding work area Assist in troubleshooting RO system issues and improving plant performance

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Environmental Engineering, or related field. Experience in RO plant operation, water treatment, desalination, or utilities operations. Knowledge of RO membranes, pumps, filters, dosing systems, and control panels.
