Job summary

Stantec in Dubai seeks an Instrumentation, Control & Automation (ICA) Lead for the Water business to provide technical leadership and oversight for ICA systems on major water and wastewater projects. You will drive design from master planning through detailed design and construction support, coordinating ICA activities across multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, integrated automation across facilities.

This role requires strong collaboration with process, electrical and hydraulic teams,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or ICA Engineering with a strong background in water/ wastewater ICA.
Chartership or PE accreditation (or equivalent) is preferred for professional standing.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage technical delivery of ICA design across project life cycle.
Provide technical leadership for ICA aspects of projects.
Coordinate ICA activities across multidisciplinary design teams.
Ensure ICA design consistency across water treatment facilities, pumping stations, pipelines, reservoirs, etc.
Lead design and technical reviews of PLC, RTU, SCADA, HMI and telemetry systems.
Collaborate with process, electrical and hydraulic teams to automate water assets.
Review vendor documentation and integration requirements for equipment packages.
Support FAT, SAT, pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures.
