Job summary

Stantec in Dubai seeks an Instrumentation, Control & Automation (ICA) Lead for the Water business to provide technical leadership and oversight of ICA activities across major water and wastewater projects. You will drive master planning through detailed design and construction support, coordinating across discipline teams to ensure consistent ICA design.

The role requires extensive experience in PLC/RTU/SCADA/HMI, cybersecurity and FAT/SAT procedures, plus mentoring of junior staff and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or ICA Engineering with 15+ years of experience.
• Demonstrable water and wastewater sector experience.
• Chartership/PE or equivalent accreditation or progressing toward it.

Responsibilities

• Lead ICA technical delivery across project life cycle.
• Coordinate ICA activities across multidisciplinary teams.
• Design and review automation systems (PLC/RTU/SCADA/HMI).
• Support FAT/SAT, commissioning, and safety reviews.
• Mentor junior staff and manage sub-consultants.
• Ensure QA/QC and adherence to safety policies.
