Job summary

SEGULA Technologies in Abu Dhabi, UAE, seeks a General Manager – Wastewater Treatment / O&M to lead major wastewater facilities. You will set strategic direction, oversee operations, budgets and safety, and ensure contract and stakeholder objectives are met with high standards of efficiency and asset performance.

The role requires extensive senior management experience in water infrastructure, strong leadership, and the ability to drive continuous improvement within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years in water/wastewater/utilities/industrial sectors.
• Minimum 8 years in senior management roles.
• Experience managing wastewater treatment plants and/or water infrastructure O&M operations.
• Experience in asset management, operational improvement and performance optimisation.
• Strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes and asset lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and leadership to functional and operational managers.
• Establish short-, medium- and long-term objectives, performance targets and operational plans.
• Develop and execute business and operational strategies.
• Oversee budgeting, financial planning and cost-control activities.
• Ensure compliance with policies, legislation and contractual requirements.
• Foster a professional, collaborative and performance-driven working environment.
