Job summary

Stantec in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Specialist to support TAQA Water Solutions projects across wastewater, sewerage, pumping stations, and related utility infrastructure.

The role focuses on integrating O&M requirements into project delivery to improve asset performance, reliability, maintainability and compliance with TAQA-WS standards, while coordinating with TAQA-WS representatives, consultants, and contractors for successful handover and operation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Master’s degree or professional certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review O&M strategies and asset management plans.
• Ensure maintainability, operability, reliability, and lifecycle cost considerations are included in design and construction.
• Support inspection, testing, commissioning, and performance verification activities.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure O&M requirements are addressed during installation and commissioning.
• Lead review of asset handover packages and O&M documentation.
