Job summary

IRE Oil and Gas FZE is seeking a Warehouse Assistant in the UAE to support the operations team with stock processing, order picking, and inventory control. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, good organisation, and adherence to health and safety standards.

The successful candidate will be based in the UAE, have 2–3 years of warehouse experience, forklift handling skills, and fluent English. Immediate joiners preferred, with the ability to work in a small growth-focused company.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor loading and offloading of shipments with drivers and helpers
• Take delivery of all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders
• Receive, store, transfer, and dispatch materials
• Ensure proper packing and wrapping of material before dispatch
• Manage inventory accuracy through daily warehouse activities and stock counts
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Report store issues such as damaged racks or faulty equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure sanitation codes are followed
• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
• Assist operations team with ad hoc picking, packing, and dispatching

IRE is looking for a Warehouse Assistant to support our operations department in ensuring the highest levels of service in processing incoming stock, picking orders from the warehouse stock, and maintaining the inventory.

We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, good organisational skills, and a strong understanding of health & safety standards. They will be self-driven and self-starter individual that requires minimal supervision. They will be passionate about working for a small company with ambitious growth plans.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Loading and offloading of the shipment/goods with drivers and helpers.
• Take delivery of all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders.
• Responsible for receiving, storing, transferring, shipping materials/products and other assigned tasks.
• Ensure the proper packing and wrapping of material before dispatch to the customer.
• Responsible and accountable for proper material handling.
• Manage inventory accuracy through monitoring of daily warehouse activities, cycle counts, stock take and audit of same to verify results.
• Ensure basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Report any store‑related issues, such as damage to racks, faulty equipment, or any other safety hazards, to the superior immediately.
• Clean and maintain the cleanliness of work areas; to ensure industry sanitation and safety codes are followed.
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment.
• Assist the operations team with ad hoc requests for product picking, packaging, and dispatching.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the management or supervisors.

Job Prerequisites

Required

• Applicants must be currently based in the UAE.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a Warehouse role within UAE.
• Minimum 1-2 years’ Forklift Driving experience.
• Experience in preparing, palletising, and packing materials.
• Fluent in speaking and writing in English.
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.

• Knowledge in Hindi.
• Ability to work with the computerized inventory system and data entry skills to update the inventory control system.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
