We are seeking an energetic, professional, and service-oriented Waitress to join our nightclub team in Dubai.

The Waitress is responsible for delivering fast, attentive, and high-quality table service while creating an engaging and memorable experience for guests. The role requires excellent communication, strong sales ability, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume nightlife environment.

The successful candidate should be confident serving both regular and VIP guests and should understand the importance of guest satisfaction, upselling, order accuracy, presentation, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service

• Warmly welcome guests and provide professional, attentive table service throughout their visit.
• Introduce the beverage menu, promotions, bottle packages, and other available offerings.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them promptly into the POS system.
• Ensure orders are delivered quickly and presented according to venue standards.
• Regularly monitor assigned tables and proactively identify when guests require additional drinks, mixers, ice, glassware, or assistance.
• Maintain a friendly and professional attitude even during peak operating periods.
• Anticipate guest requirements rather than waiting to be called whenever possible.

Sales & Upselling

• Actively promote premium spirits, bottles, cocktails, champagne, packages, and other high-value products.
• Understand current promotions, minimum-spend requirements, bottle prices, and menu offerings.
• Recommend suitable products based on guest preferences and budget.
• Look for appropriate opportunities to increase average guest and table spend without using aggressive sales techniques.
• Support management in achieving nightly beverage and revenue targets.
• Develop strong relationships with regular and high-value guests while maintaining professional boundaries.

VIP & Bottle Service

• Deliver premium service to VIP tables and high-spend customers.
• Ensure bottles, mixers, ice, glasses, garnishes, and other table requirements are properly prepared and presented.
• Coordinate bottle presentations and special celebrations with the relevant team members.
• Understand the specific service expectations associated with VIP and premium tables.
• Immediately communicate VIP requests or issues to the Floor Manager or VIP team.
• Maintain discretion and confidentiality when serving VIP guests.

Order & Payment Management

• Accurately enter all orders into the nightclub's POS system.
• Confirm orders with guests where necessary to prevent mistakes.
• Ensure all products served are correctly recorded before leaving the service area.
• Present bills accurately and process payments according to company procedures.
• Follow all cash, card, room-charge, credit, and complimentary-item procedures established by management.
• Immediately report payment discrepancies or disputed bills to the Floor Manager.
• Never provide unauthorized discounts, complimentary products, or changes to guest bills.

Table & Floor Management

• Maintain assigned tables and service areas in a clean, organized, and presentable condition.
• Ensure used glasses, bottles, napkins, and other items are cleared promptly.
• Coordinate with barbacks/runners to maintain adequate ice, mixers, glassware, and table supplies.
• Ensure tables are reset quickly when guests leave.
• Monitor table occupancy and immediately inform the Floor Manager when tables become available.
• Help maintain clear service pathways and safe working areas.

Team Coordination

• Work closely with bartenders, barbacks, runners, hostesses, VIP hosts, cashiers, security, and floor management.
• Communicate orders and special guest requirements clearly.
• Attend pre-shift briefings regarding reservations, VIP guests, promotions, events, menu changes, and operational instructions.
• Assist colleagues during busy periods to maintain overall service standards.
• Immediately inform management of service delays, guest complaints, stock shortages, or operational problems.

Guest Complaints & Difficult Situations

• Listen professionally to guest concerns and attempt to resolve minor service issues within authorized limits.
• Escalate significant complaints to the Floor Manager promptly.
• Remain calm and professional when dealing with difficult or intoxicated guests.
• Immediately inform management or security where guest behaviour creates a safety or security concern.
• Never engage in arguments or confrontations with guests.

Responsible Service & Compliance

• Follow venue procedures relating to responsible alcohol service.
• Immediately inform management where a guest appears excessively intoxicated.
• Follow all applicable UAE/Dubai requirements and venue policies regarding alcohol service, guest safety, and nightclub operations.
• Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with guests at all times.
• Follow all hygiene, health and safety, and company operating procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a Waitress, Cocktail Waitress, Bottle Service Waitress, or VIP Waitress, preferably within a nightclub, lounge, beach club, bar, luxury restaurant, or high-volume hospitality venue.
• Excellent spoken English.
• Additional languages such as Russian or Arabic are advantageous depending on the venue's clientele.
• Strong sales and upselling ability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a busy nightclub environment.
• Good numeracy and order-management skills.
