Job summary

Rixos Premium Dubai JBR in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, seeks a professional Waiter/Waitress to join our luxury hospitality team. You will deliver impeccable food and beverage service in a fast-paced, upscale setting, ensuring guests receive personalised, attentive care throughout service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage (Russian, Arabic, Turkish).
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grooming standards at all times.
• Exceed guest satisfaction by knowing preferences and updating profiles.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of the restaurant menu & daily specials at all times.
• Be familiar with beverage service, including glasses and garnishes.
• Follow up restaurants' financial, LQA, TrustYou targets daily.
• Anticipate and service guest needs at all times.
• Use opening/closing checklists to ensure smooth service.
• Ensure service stations are stocked and cleared during service.
• Serve and clear food and beverage items professionally.
• Present menus proactively.
• Keep manager updated on guest feedback and glitches report.
• Maintain HACCP & FIFO standards as required by regulation.
• Attend briefings and training sessions as instructed by the Manager.
• Identify potential problems and ask for assistance before service breakdown occurs.
• Perform duties and special projects as requested by management.
• Report all issues/negative feedback via the glitch system.

Key Deliverables and Responsibilities

• Ensure correct grooming standards are followed at all times
• Exceed guest satisfaction by knowing preferences and update profiles
• Maintain detailed knowledge of the restaurant menu & daily specials at all times
• To be familiar with the beverage service including glasses used and appropriates garnishes
• Following up restaurants financial, LQA, TrustYou targets on a daily basis
• Anticipate and service of guests' requirements at all times
• Use opening and closing checklist to ensure smooth opening and closing of the venue
• Ensure service stations are constantly cleared and re-stocked during service
• Serve and clear food and beverage items in an unobtrusive and professional manner
• Present menus in a proactive manner
• Keep manager on duty updated of any guest feedback so they can update the Glitch Report
• Maintains the HACCP & FIFO standards as required by the regional governing body
• Attend all necessary briefings and training sessions as instructed by the Manager
• Identify potential problems and anticipate guest needs, ask for assistance before service breakdown occurs
• Perform any duties and special projects as requested by management whether in your own department or any other department in the hotel
• All issues and negative guest feedbacks needs to be properly reported on glitch system
• Follow care program at all times, and report issues through the system to maintenance

Qualifications
