Job summary

Jumeirah Muscat Bay, part of Dubai Holding, invites applications for a Waiter in Food & Beverage. You will engage guests with wine and food recommendations, assist with table setup, and ensure seamless service in a luxury resort setting.

Ideal candidates have 1 year in a similar luxury role, a High School Diploma, and demonstrate creativity and problem solving. You will work with a polished team and benefit from world-class training and staff discounts across our properties.

• 1 year of experience in a similar role within the luxury industry.
• High School Diploma.
• Creative.
• Problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Discuss food and wine choices with guests in detail.
• To control usage of all food and beverage items and appropriate usage of equipment, tools and service equipment.
• To ensure the food pick up and service is impeccable and completed in a timely manner.
• Communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen using the hotel's point-of-sales system.
• Responsible for setting up tables, serving food and beverage to guests, and clearing/cleaning tables.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
