Job summary

edari is seeking a Vice President for Enterprise Applications (Oracle) to provide strategic and operational oversight of Oracle ERP across the Group and its subsidiaries. The role reports to the EVP in Abu Dhabi and leads governance, delivery, and security for ERP programs.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in enterprise technology or ERP, strong governance, and Arabic language skills are highly desired. Immediate availability or short notice is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 10+ years in enterprise tech or ERP.
• Proven track record managing Oracle ERP across implementation, enhancement, support, and governance.
• Strong governance, risk, and service-level management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Oracle ERP platforms roadmap, governance framework, delivery priorities and service standards.
• Provide functional and operational oversight of Oracle ERP configuration, modules, workflows, enhancements, and support.
• Lead and develop Oracle ERP teams, setting objectives, priorities, and performance measures.
• Manage ERP implementation, enhancement, testing, deployment, and operational readiness.
• Establish and maintain ERP policies, procedures, controls, and governance requirements.
• Work closely with business functions, Group subsidiaries, and senior stakeholders.
• Manage Oracle ERP vendors, system integrators, managed service providers, and implementation partners.
• Oversee ERP-related risks, incidents, audit findings, and corrective actions.
• Ensure security, data protection, change management, business continuity, and disaster recovery considerations are embedded.
• Drive continuous improvement through standardisation, automation, workflow optimisation, and data quality initiatives.
• Provide management reporting on performance, service levels, and delivery milestones.

We are looking to hire a VP in Enterprise Applications (Oracle) who will be responsible for providing strategic, functional and operational oversight of Oracle ERP platforms across the Group and its subsidiaries. The role sits within the ERP Department function and reports directly to the EVP, based in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities:

Knowledge, skills & experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, Human Capital Systems or related.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise technology or ERP, preferably within large-scale government, utilities, infrastructure, or service organisations.
• Strong experience managing Oracle ERP platforms across implementation, enhancement, support, and governance.
• Demonstrated experience in ERP governance, operational controls, service levels, and risk management.
• Proficiency in Arabic is highly desired.
• Immediate availability or maximum 30 days notice preferred.
