Job summary

Aldar is seeking a VP of Business Intelligence & Analytics to lead the design, build, and scaling of the organization’s BI and analytics capabilities. You will develop executive dashboards for CxOs, define semantic and data modeling layers, and guide a team of BI developers to deliver high-quality insights across the enterprise.

Lead governance, data quality, and BI best practices while expanding self-service analytics and enterprise-wide adoption across business units.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in BI, analytics engineering, or data analytics.
• Proven experience delivering executive dashboards for CxOs and senior leadership.
• Enterprise-scale self-service BI rollout with governed datasets and semantic layers.
• Strong Tableau/dashboard design, performance tuning, and scalable deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-impact Tableau dashboards for C-suite executives and senior leadership.
• Optimize performance, usability, and scalability of BI dashboards and reports.
• Architect and roll out self-service BI with governed datasets and semantic layers.
• Define BI standards, templates, and governance to empower business users.
• Drive BI adoption and analytics literacy across business functions.
• Design and maintain advanced analytical data models (star, snowflake, hybrid).
• Write advanced SQL and Python to support transformations and analytics logic.
• Lead, mentor, and provide hands-on guidance to junior BI developers.
• Establish development standards, code reviews, and dashboard design guidelines.
• Ensure dashboards and reports are trusted, explainable, and aligned with enterprise definitions.
• Act as a technical authority for BI platforms and enterprise metrics.
