Job summary

Majid Al Futtaim is seeking a BI Development Manager - Data Analytics in Dubai to lead end-to-end BI solution delivery across the Retail arm. You will work with data engineers and cloud teams to transform complex data into scalable dashboards, performance metrics, and automated insights that support strategic decisions.

The role requires deep expertise in Power BI, SQL, DAX, and data modeling, with a strong focus on governance, security, and scalable BI architecture across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
• 7 years of experience in senior BI development within enterprise environments.
• Strong design and delivery of BI platforms, dashboards, and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise BI projects in line with BI standards and data governance.
• Collaborate with business functions to address operational and commercial challenges via analytics and automation.
• Translate requirements into scalable BI solutions, dashboards, datasets, and models.
• Manage Power BI workspaces, datasets, dataflows, dashboards, and reports.
• Oversee CI-CD processes for BI assets ensuring governance and quality.
• Define and monitor KPIs used across business functions.
• Develop and maintain BI glossary covering KPIs, measures, and naming conventions.
• Design and govern Row-Level, Page-Level, and Object-Level Security frameworks.
• Coordinate with Data Engineering/Architectures to automate data execution flows.
• Partner with Cloud Architecture to implement XMLA read-write framework with governance.
• Apply SQL, DAX, and M to transform and analyze large datasets.
• Perform data quality checks and enforce minimum thresholds.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting and analytics processes.
• Optimize data delivery pipelines and BI infrastructure for performance.
