Salt seeks a hands-on Videographer and Internal Content Producer in Abu Dhabi to plan, film, produce and edit video content that communicates the organisation’s work, culture and priorities.

You will manage the full production process for internal communications, leadership updates, employee engagement and selected external channels, directing contributors on camera and handling lighting, sound, editing and motion graphics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training in Film, Media Production, Communications, Broadcasting, Multimedia Arts or a related discipline.
  • Fluent English is required; Arabic is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, film, produce and edit video content for internal communications, leadership updates, employee engagement and corporate storytelling.
  • Coordinate shoot schedules, locations and contributors; manage production timelines and approvals.
  • Direct contributors on camera and ensure professional audio, lighting and framing throughout productions.
  • Edit short-form and long-form video content and produce edits for multiple channels (intranet, email, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
  • Maintain brand, accessibility, privacy, and technical quality across all outputs.

VIDEOGRAPHER AND INTERNAL CONTENT PRODUCER
ABOUT THE ORGANISATION

Our client is a diversified holding and platform-building group with a growing portfolio across strategically important sectors. Its marketing function supports group-level and portfolio-company communications across brand, creative, digital, content and stakeholder engagement.

ROLE PURPOSE

Plan, film, produce and edit video content that communicates the organisation's work, culture, people and priorities.

The role will create polished and authentic content for internal communications, leadership updates, employee engagement, corporate storytelling, events and selected external channels. It requires someone who can manage the full production process while making colleagues feel comfortable and natural on camera.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Planning and Story Development
  • Develop video concepts and production plans based on internal communication and marketing briefs.
  • Translate business updates, employee stories and leadership messages into clear and engaging video formats.
  • Prepare interview questions, scripts, storyboards, shot lists and production schedules.
  • Recommend appropriate formats for different messages, audiences and distribution channels.
Filming and Production
  • Film leadership interviews, employee profiles, office activity, events, project updates and behind-the-scenes content.
  • Direct contributors during filming and help non-professional speakers feel confident on camera.
  • Set up and operate cameras, lighting, microphones and other production equipment.
  • Capture supporting footage and visual details that strengthen the final story.
  • Maintain professional audio, lighting, framing and visual consistency.
Editing and Post-Production
  • Edit short-form and long-form video content for internal and external use.
  • Add titles, subtitles, captions, graphics, transitions, music and sound treatment.
  • Produce different edits and aspect ratios for presentations, email, intranet, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and other approved channels.
  • Manage review rounds, stakeholder feedback and final approvals.
  • Ensure all content meets brand, accessibility, privacy and technical requirements.
Internal Content Production
  • Create recurring internal content such as leadership messages, employee spotlights, event recaps, business updates and culture stories.
  • Work with HR, Internal Communications, Brand and leadership teams to maintain a relevant content calendar.
  • Identify stories from across the organisation that can improve employee awareness and engagement.
  • Support town halls, internal campaigns and employer-branding initiatives with video and multimedia content.
Production Management
  • Coordinate shoot schedules, locations, contributors, releases, equipment and production requirements.
  • Maintain an organised archive of footage, project files and final assets.
  • Manage external production support, freelancers or suppliers when required.
  • Track production timelines and flag risks or delays early.
  • Follow appropriate consent and confidentiality processes when filming employees, partners and sensitive business activity.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training in Film, Media Production, Communications, Broadcasting, Multimedia Arts or a related discipline.
  • Fluent English is required; Arabic is strongly preferred.
EXPERIENCE
  • Four to seven years of videography, video production, content production or multimedia experience.
  • Demonstrated experience filming interviews, people-led stories, corporate content and events.
  • Strong portfolio covering filming, editing and post-production.
  • Experience working with senior leaders and non-professional on-camera contributors is preferred.
  • Corporate, agency, production-house or internal communications experience is advantageous.

IDEAL CANDIDATE
