Tanqeeb is seeking a Vice President of IT Operations in Abu Dhabi for a part-time, hybrid role. You will lead IT operations, ensure reliable service delivery, and align technology initiatives with business goals, while collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support secure and efficient operations.

You will develop IT policies and procedures, oversee infrastructure and systems, contribute to budgeting and long-term planning, and drive continuous improvement of IT

Role Description

The Vice President of IT Operations is a part-time leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company’s information technology environment. This hybrid role is based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, with a mix of on-site presence and work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing IT operations, ensuring reliable IT service delivery, and aligning technology initiatives with business objectives. The role involves developing IT policies and procedures, overseeing infrastructure and systems, and coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support secure and efficient operations. The Vice President of IT Operations will also contribute to strategic planning, budgeting, and continuous improvement of IT processes to support the company’s growth and quality standards.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in IT Operations and IT Service Management to ensure stable, efficient, and secure technology services. Candidates should possess proven IT Management and Information Technology skills to oversee systems, infrastructure, and technology projects. Candidates should possess Strategic Planning skills to align IT initiatives with organizational goals and support long-term business growth. Experience in designing and implementing IT policies, cybersecurity practices, and compliance frameworks, ideally in manufacturing, food, or logistics sectors. Demonstrated leadership ability, including stakeholder management, vendor coordination, and cross-functional collaboration. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage. Fluency in English; additional language skills and experience working in international environments are beneficial.
