Job summary

Alba Cars in Dubai is seeking a skilled Vehicle Inspector to join our leading used car showroom. You will inspect vehicles, assess paint, structure, electrical and mechanicals, and document findings in our internal software.

This role requires independence, strong automotive background, ability to manage multiple inspections within tight timelines, and professional interaction with customers and the purchasing team.

Qualifications

• Minimum prior experience performing vehicle inspections, including bodywork, structure, electrical and mechanical assessments.
• Strong automotive background and attention to detail are essential.
• Proficiency with computers and familiarity with reporting software.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly to team members and customers.

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Vehicle Inspector to join Alba Cars, one of the UAE’s leading used car showrooms known for quality and customer satisfaction.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong automotive background and a sharp eye for detail, capable of conducting thorough vehicle assessments independently. You will be responsible for inspecting vehicles, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and supporting the purchasing team in evaluating inventory.

Vehicle Inspection & Assessment

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections at our facility or at customer locations.
• Evaluate paintwork, structural integrity, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
• Ensure all inspections are completed within a one-hour timeframe.
• Accurately document findings and submit reports using internal software.

Scheduling & Operational Efficiency

• Manage a structured daily schedule and ensure punctuality for all appointments.
• Work efficiently to handle multiple inspections while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Coordinate with the purchasing team to align on vehicle evaluation schedules.

Collaboration & Customer Interaction

• Work closely with the purchasing team, who arrange customer appointments.
• Interact professionally with customers from diverse backgrounds.
• Deliver a smooth and professional inspection experience when dealing with vehicle owners.

Requirements

• Previous experience in vehicle inspections, including bodywork, structural, electrical, and mechanical assessments.
• Strong background in the automotive industry is essential.
• Ability to work independently and manage inspections without direct supervision.
• Proficiency in using computers and familiarity with OBD scanning tools.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Good time management skills with the ability to meet tight inspection timelines.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary Range: AED 3,500 – 8,000 per month (based on experience and performance)
• Work Visa sponsorship
• Medical insurance (as per UAE labor law)
• 30 days of paid annual leave

Work Arrangement

• Type: Full-time, on-site position
• Location: UAE
• Note: Fieldwork required (facility and customer locations)
• Note: Remote or hybrid work is not available. Candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to the UAE.
