Job summary

Juthoor Alkhair food & bevereges trading is hiring a Van Salesperson in Abu Dhabi to visit customers, take orders, and deliver food products to groceries, restaurants and other buyers. The role focuses on achieving daily, weekly and monthly sales targets while promoting promotions and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Applicants should hold a valid UAE driving license, possess good communication and negotiation skills, and be able to load/unload products when required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as a Van Salesman.
• Experience in FMCG or food production preferred.
• Valid UAE driving license required.
• Good knowledge of UAE roads and locations.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers daily per assigned route and sell company food products to groceries, supermarkets, restaurants, cafeterias and others.
• Take customer orders and deliver products on time.
• Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets and promote new products and promotions.
• Maintain relationships, collect payments, and manage invoices and delivery notes.

To sell and deliver company food products to customers and achieve the assigned sales targets.

Main Responsibilities

• Visit customers daily as per the assigned route.
• Sell company food products to groceries, supermarkets, restaurants, cafeterias, and other customers.
• Take customer orders and deliver products on time.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
• Find new customers and increase sales.
• Maintain good relationships with customers.
• Promote new products, offers, and promotions.
• Check product stock, expiry dates, and product condition.
• Follow FIFO/FEFO for proper stock rotation.
• Handle company products carefully during loading and delivery.
• Collect cash and payments from customers as per company procedure.
• Maintain proper invoices, delivery notes, and sales documents.
• Handle customer complaints and report them to the Sales Supervisor.
• Check competitor products and prices and report market information.
• Maintain the company vehicle clean and in good condition.
• Follow UAE traffic rules and company vehicle safety rules.
• Follow company food safety, hygiene, and safety procedures.
• Submit daily sales and collection reports.
• Perform other duties given by the Sales Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Van Salesman.
• Experience in FMCG or food production company is preferred.
• Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of UAE roads and locations.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Basic English communication is required.
• Hindi/Urdu/Malayalam is an advantage.
• Good selling and negotiation skills.
• Able to achieve sales targets.
• Honest, hardworking, and responsible.
• Able to load and unload food products when required.

Preferred Experience

Bakery / Bread / Food Products / FMCG / Food Distribution experience will be an advantage.
