Job summary

aspexx. is seeking a UX Lead to drive end-to-end user experience strategies for a range of regional brands. You will mentor multidisciplinary teams and partner with clients, product teams, and technology specialists to deliver human-centered digital experiences.

You will own discovery through delivery, facilitate workshops, and ensure usability and accessibility best practices across engagements in government, financial services, mobility, retail, hospitality and healthcare.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional UX design experience leading complex digital projects.
• Background in design consultancy, digital agency or innovation consultancy desired.
• Strong portfolio showing end-to-end UX process and strategic thinking across industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end UX projects from discovery through delivery.
• Define UX strategies aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
• Plan and facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews and co-creation sessions.
• Conduct and synthesise qualitative and quantitative user research.
• Develop personas, customer journeys, service blueprints, IA and user flows.
• Create wireframes, prototypes and interaction concepts.
• Present design rationale to senior stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Visual Designers, Service Designers, Researchers and Engineers.
• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level UX Designers.
• Champion accessibility, usability and design best practice.
• Support proposal development, client pitches and thought leadership where required.

The Role

Experience & Qualifications

• 7+ years' professional UX Design experience, leading complex digital projects
• Design consultancy, digital agency or innovation consultancy background highly desirable
• Strong portfolio showing end-to-end UX process and strategic thinking across industries
• Expertise in user-centred design methodologies and design thinking
• Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement experience
• Excellent grasp of IA, interaction design and usability principles
• Proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping tools
• Experience within Agile product teams
• Strong communication and presentation skills at senior stakeholder level
• Experience mentoring designers and leading project teams

Nice to Have

• Middle East or international market experience
• Exposure to Service Design or CX projects
• Experience alongside Product Strategy teams
• Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design
• Arabic language skills advantageous but not essential
