Job summary
Schlumberger, a global leader in oilfield services, seeks an Upstream Reservoir Engineer for the UAE to evaluate and manage oil and gas reservoirs to maximize recovery. You will design development plans and forecast production in collaboration with geoscientists, production engineers, and project managers.
The role requires strong analytical and technical skills, experience with Eclipse, Petrel, or CMG, and the ability to deliver data-driven recommendations across multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in upstream reservoir engineering or related operations.
- Experience with reservoir simulation and well performance analysis.
- Familiarity with UAE oil and gas regulations and standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct reservoir simulation studies and performance analysis to optimize production.
- Evaluate reservoir characteristics, fluid properties, and well performance data.
- Design reservoir management strategies to maximize hydrocarbon recovery.
- Collaborate with drilling, production, and geoscience teams to plan development projects.
- Prepare technical reports, forecasts, and recommendations for management and clients.
