Job summary

JobLeader in Dubai invites an experienced Petroleum Engineer to join our team. The role focuses on developing and managing petroleum engineering projects to maximize oil and gas production, leveraging engineering expertise across onshore and offshore operations.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years in the oil and gas sector and a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering (Master’s degree preferred). Proficiency with reservoir engineering techniques and PETEX software is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the oil & gas industry.
• Excellent knowledge of petroleum reservoir engineering techniques such as pressure transient analysis, material balance calculations, etc.
• Proficiency in PETEX or similar modeling software is preferred.
• Good understanding of economic principles related to oil & gas recovery processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement plans for oil and gas production activities.
• Monitor performance of onshore/offshore well operations.
• Perform reservoir engineering duties such as pressure transient analysis, material balance calculations, etc.
• Analyze fluid properties to optimize production processes.
• Estimate reserves of oil and gas resources for projects under consideration.
• Develop strategies for drilling and completion operations within budget constraints.
• Monitor the production performance of existing wells to identify areas of improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.
