Qualifications

• Experience in upscale 5-star hotel or resort restaurant environment.
• Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build relationships with high-profile and diverse clientele.
• Excellent communication in English; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests at the restaurant entrance.
• Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waiting lists efficiently.
• Escort guests to tables and present menus.
• Coordinate seating to optimise turnover and service flow.
• Maintain organized reservations system and communicate guest preferences.
• Handle reservations inquiries by phone about policies and details.
• Support service team during peak hours as needed.
• Ensure hostess stand and menus are clean and presentable.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and promptly; escalate when needed.
• Coordinate VIP arrangements and special events as required.
