Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in upscale 5-star hotel or resort restaurant environment.
• Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with a high-profile and diverse clientele.
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in an additional language is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests at the restaurant entrance.
• Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waiting lists efficiently.
• Escort guests to tables and present menus.
• Coordinate seating to optimize turnover and service flow.
• Maintain an organized reservations system and communicate guest preferences to the team.
• Answer telephone inquiries about reservations, menu details, and restaurant policies.
• Support the service team during peak hours as needed.
• Ensure the hostess stand, entrance area, and menus are clean and presentable.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and promotions.
• Assist with coordinating events, group bookings, and VIP arrangements.
• Uphold grooming standards and act as brand ambassador.
• Assist with other duties requested by management.
